Our team has registered events for NDEW in Omaha on Sunday, September 8 and in Lincoln on Sunday, September 15. We will begin planning for the many details at our June 22 meeting. These events are a colossal undertaking as they are comprised of many interrelated activites and involve many EV and environmental groups. These events should include: parades, booths, panel discussions, exhibits of EVs by owners, test drives by auto dealers, awards, media appearances, etc. ******** Rev Up Electric Vehicles 2.0 What is Rev Up Electric Vehicles? Rev Up is a nationwide Sierra Club campaign to evaluate the EV consumer shopping experience in the U.S. and to use the survey results to push the auto industry to do a better job with their EV inventory, marketing, and sales. This is an interactive campaign where community members visit their car dealerships, test drive electric vehicles, and let us know how their shopping experience went. We regularly hear that people have a tough time shopping for EVs—no EVs were available at the dealership or the salespeople were uninformed or no one shared information with them about important incentives like rebates or tax credits. The goal of Rev Up Electric Vehicles 2.0 is to show that most automakers and dealers (though with some notable exceptions!) still have a long way to go in selling EVs, and to push the industry to do better for consumers and for the planet. Volunteer to break the barriers to electric vehicle adoption! <> for more info or to join this campaign. https://content.sierraclub.org/evguide/sites/content.sierraclub.org.evguide/files/rev-up-2.0-faq.pdf ******** You are welcome to join our EV Team.
